It bridges hospital-based expertise with accessible outpatient and telemedicine services, ensuring seamless care transitions from ICU to home recovery.
The clinic offers comprehensive services, including critical care consultations, post-ICU rehabilitation, tele-ICU support, and management of complex chronic illnesses. Guided by a closed-ICU philosophy and protocol-driven approach, Shaibya Clinic emphasises humanised medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, and continuous education of healthcare professionals. Its strong tele-ICU linkages and training initiatives extend high-quality critical care to resource-limited and remote regions, making it a hub of excellence in continuity of care and clinical innovation.
Gujarat Critical Care (GCC), founded by Dr. Rajesh Chandra Mishra in 2009, is a pioneering academic and clinical movement dedicated to elevating the standards of intensive care across India and beyond. It blends evidence-based medicine with humanised and resource-appropriate approaches, ensuring that quality critical care reaches both tertiary and peripheral hospitals. Guided by a vision to empower healthcare professionals, GCC promotes a culture of compassion, competence, and collaboration in intensive care practice.
Over the years, GCC has held successful conferences and workshops featuring national and international experts, offering hands-on training in ventilation, ECMO, RRT, and hemodynamic monitoring. It runs extensive educational outreach programmes for nurses, doctors, and technicians, and has expanded tele-ICU services to smaller hospitals in Gujarat and neighbouring states. Through publications like the GCC Critical Care Series and public awareness drives, GCC continues to build capacity, improve ICU outcomes, and nurture the next generation of critical care leaders.
